Global Fishing Watch has added the ability to switch to a 'vessel positions' view showing fishing or vessel positions at high zoom levels or short time ranges. Vessels can be highlighted and tracks loaded with a single click.

Recently had an issue with misinterpretation of our data with a core country. Having the vessel positions visible would have helped avoid/clear it up.
