Feedback - Flagging vessels as incorrect
Populate the feedback form with information about a vessel so it can be shared back to Global Fishing Watch to make corrections.
2
Usability - A vessel info pop-up
It would be useful to have a pop-up with vessel information when you click on a specific vessel, rather than having to go to the sidebar.

Map layout - Vessel List in alphabetical order
In the side bar are listed the vessels as you enter it. Along the research normaly the vessels are added as you find them using the presence or fishing effort layers in your area of interest; so at the end, your list of vessels in the side bar is quite random sorted. So is difficult to find some specific one on the list to turn on or off it´s track when you are working with many. It will be very helpfull to have the list sorted in alphabetical order for seek one vessel in particular.

Points - Color or size by metadata
Feedback Uploading points and coloring or changing their size related to metadata.

Gear and seasonal specificity
To incorporate greater data granularity on gear & seasonal based regulations. RFMOs often have seasonal or gear moratoria, can this be checked and reported against? For example, being able to differentiate between purse seine FAD vs free-school

Vessel insights - Add AIS disabling location to vessel insights
The new VV insights release looks great - suggest add AIS disabling location to vessel insights as at the moment you can't connect the disabling event to a single pause in the tracking data. You can see where AIS is turned off but not which disabling event relates to which gap in the tracking data. Understanding this helps a user evaluate risk - i.e. disabling event for 4 days on an EEZ boundary is a different risk to disabling event of 4 days near port

VV - download vessel activity
the download data format structure contains a bunch of fields which can distract for the core information of interest (i.e. the bounding boxes etc.) Would be great to include a standard view with all fields (default) as well as ability to select the fields users want and the data file structure. For example, I think the port entry exit information from VMS is pretty simple - I attach here what it looks like. Mirroring this file structure would allow users to compare across their data with our data. https://globalfishingwatch.org/vessel-viewer/profile/public-global-fishing-vessels:v20201001/69f01f8d1-1833-ef68-f696-4e1e078077bb/5cf8018e-c486-4e8a-8102-9de55f225e45?imo=

Vessel Viewer - High seas label for events not in EEZ/RFMO
This feedback came in on Vessel Viewer as the activity summary and way events are displayed means that events on the high seas are just black, e.g. it says "X fishing hours in [blank]". Adding high seas pockets could help identify events in unregulated areas and provide a way to communicate where an event took place in event summaries and lists.
